Notice of Violation: Land Use

Opened November 14, 2023 · Updated November 29, 2023

Exterior vanity lights shine skyward and into my bedroom in the building next-door.  We can only cover up the window to avoid blinding bright lights which leaves without air circulation.  Bedroom is already warm as it is where the water heater is, so not being able to use window for air is unhealthy for us.  Also we believe we are enduring light tresspass/polution which is negatively affecting our well being (eg sleep, comfort, enjoyment of our home).

New owner has replaced old lighting with multiple, skyward facing luminaires having excessively bright (LED?) bulbs which shine like head lights into our bedroom windows. We have blinds, but we hav also had to cover our windows  to the point of losing adequate ventilation. The choice is ha
