Complaint

Opened May 21, 2020

There are no permits taken out for all the construction being done to this rental property. The owner is doing his own wiring. His own plumbing. He is doing dry wall, plastering and major home rennovations with out any profesional companies or permits. There is a danger this could lead to a fire if all the knob and tube wiring isn't updated correctly. The houses are tight on this block and it would be a big mess if it caught fire.

Complaint: Construction

Opened May 15, 2020

I've become increasingly concerned with the amount of construction taking place with out any permitting. I have witnessed the slum lord updating the wiring on his own. Taking a bathroom and kitchen down to the studs. Doing his own plumbing work with hoses, plaster work, dry wall. These are narrow and if that house catches fire it will take down several houses around it.
