My lease ends 8/31 and my landlord texted me asking to increase the rent, before i could respond my landlord rescended the increase and asked to terminate my lease instead. I believe this is illegal and need help understanding what my rights are.

I am a tenant at 7045 38th Ave NE and I am having issues with my landlord that I believe violates several of Seattle rental laws. My original lease ended on August 31, 2024, and my housemates and I believed that we were going to renew the lease for another year.
