I toured a basement unit at the 710 Apartments (710 2nd Ave W, Seattle). The property manager told me the unit has an ongoing problem with black mold. The only solution the building has implemented is to insert styrofoam between the mold and the exterior wall. The property manager specifically warned me not to rent the unit if I have asthma or a weak immune system. I was only informed of the mold problem because I asked why there was a dehumidifier in the back closet. I did not rent the
