My friend who manages apartments told me to complain here: I pay extra for an individual garage unit in the back of the property; the gate to the parking lot is often broken. I left my individual garage door open for a few hours while I ran errands and an unhoused person came through the broken gate and left needles and blood in my garage. On July 20 2024, I emailed my building HOA about our neighboring building, 733 Summit's loud electric gate. The parking lot for 733 Summit, which is accessed from Bellevue Ave, has an electric gate which had begun to emit a loud screeching noise when it opened. Roughly 20-30 times a day. I've lived here for 7 1/2 years then and never recollect hearing such a noise. The neighbors "fixed" the issue after several weeks, and the gate was quieter. On 1/31/25, I notified the property management that I hear the unusual sound of water sloshing in my wall and that there is a major leak. They sent a maintenance person on 2/1/25 to assess the situation, who told me that it was fine. On 2/6/25, I begin to smell mold/mildew throughout my unit, the source being my kitchen sink.
