The back (to alley) common area door is sealed shut from the outside without warning or even signs instructing people to exit the building a different way. Video is attached. It looks like this is painting related but it's completely blocking the exit and management won't provide us with any information on when to expect to not be able to exit our building or units.

A few days ago we were notified that a new package room had been constructed for our packages. Back when the work of creating this room was underway in May, I noticed that a common hallway wall was taken down to the studs to make way for a new hallway facing door to be added. NO PERMIT WAS PULLED FOR THIS WORK. We have no way of knowing if they modified structural components to make way for the new door, if electrical wires or outlets were moved (and still meet code, if the room has an integrat

The property owner has not pulled permits for extensive electrical work apart from a possible future EV charging port.The property owner added a whole new automatic swing door to the main hallway to create a mail package room (ripping out and replace wall insulation) without a construction permit. I don't believe a licensed contractor would ever do that either.
