Tenant has no wall from bedroom. On the other side is a gym. Mgmt put up a plastic sheet/wall. Is this legal? Mgmt. not responding. Telling tenant unit is habitable. Told tenant to call renters insurance. Has been like this for 2wks. Reference 011685-25 & 012523-25

I am filing a complaint against my landlord for multiple violations of Seattle and Washington State laws, including:1. Failure to Provide Adequate Notice for Rent Increase: My rent was increased without any written notice or updated lease, violating RCW 59.18.140 and SMC 7.24.030(A), which require at least 180 days' notice in Seattle.2. Insufficient Proof of Notice Delivery: The landlord claims they mailed a notice but provided no proof beyond a sticky note. This fails to meet SMC 7.24.
