There has been a water leak in the laundry room next to my apartment going on for almost 3 months. There's water flowing consistently from an electrical box with no clear cause, the room and adjoining hallway has flooded twice when the floor drain has gotten clogged with almost 3 inches of standing water. We prevented water from entering our unit by placing thick blankets in front of our door, but have had to continually monitor the status of the water and drain for months to catch the flooding

A maintenance request to address an active water overflow from an exposed pipe in the laundry room was ignored by property maintenance and management. The pipe leak is the force of a faucet turned on, has been ongoing for at least three months and has caused recurrent flooding of the basement as well as residual moisture in the basement and stairwell; the basement and stairwell smell damp and like mold.
