I'm on a month to month lease, the owner updated and changed the terms without notifying me. 2 weeks ago, there was a leak in my unit, causing severe damaged and asbestos was discovered in the repair assessment. I'm going to have to move out but the owner has not offered any assistance. She told me to file a claim against my renters insurance and all she would do is pro-rate the rent. What are my rights?
