The apartment construction (the Hemlock) across the street has been running sirens non-stop since 8am with no warning to surrounding buildings. We have all windows closed and it is still blaring. I am unable to get work done. I have been able to deal with general construction noises for the last year and a half but this is ridiculous.

Renovations / construction without a permit.They replaced roof without a permit (remaining evidence is wood beam on ground and damaged light fixture out front, which they never fixed). Landlord using unlicensed and unqualified contractors to make renovations without any permits on file and is causing damage that goes ignored when tenants complain. Also recently renovated the roof with no notice and no permit, causing debris to rain down in tenant apartments. Over half the lights also burned out in courtyard and parking lot / repaired improperly causing safety issues but landlord will not fix.
