Noise from residential HVAC fan motor, almost certainly a heat pump, because it is outside of the house and runs nearly constantly, all day and night. Since December 1, it has become *very* loud. It is probably a bearing going bad, but the owner is doing nothing about it. If you perform an inspection and determine that the squealing fan motor is not in violation of the prescribed noise limit, perhaps SDCI could at least contact the resident and inform them that they need to have a fan motor
