Retaliatory rent increase - Landlord sent notice for rent increase within 90 days of maintenance on unit. o Black mold in bathroom maintenance performed on 3/28/2022. (see attached doc 1* for text with time stamp) Notice for 23% increase sent 5/31/2022 - Landlord did not comply with maintenance request to fix living room ceiling. Request was for repair was mailed via certified mail 3/2/2022. (see attached doc 2*) Just Cause Eviction violation - Landlord did not offer renewal between 60-90 day

There is toxic black mold present in my apartment. Mold is located in bathroom, under flooring. There are multiple layers of flooring, both ceramic and vinyl. mold is present under each. Mold was discovered as i was cleaning bathroom. A tile was loose so i picked it up. under the tile was black mold. First request to building manager for maintenance was 2/5/2022. Per Online; There is an ongoing leak in the basement. First request for maintenance was June 2020. Leak was initially addressed April 2021; however, leak is still present and was not in fact corrected.In addition to the basement leak, there is evidence of black mold in the basement.
