Complaint: Emergency , LandLord/Tenant

Opened February 17, 2026

I received a "Rent and Fee Increase Notice to Tenants" within 90 days of making a good faith report to the Seattle Hearing Examiner of a violation of SMC 7.25. I believe this could be a "Reprisals or retaliatory actions by landlord" per RCW 59.18.250. The rent increase notice does not specify "any reasonable grounds for said increase" per RCW 59.18.250. The complaint to the Seattle Hearing Examiner was made on December 4th, 2025. The rent increase notice was posted on my door February 13, 20026

Seattle City Parks Department regularly shows up to leaf blow both Totem Pole Park and Occidental Park, usually around 6am, but always before 7. People live in the buildings surrounding both of these parks, and many like myself, don't work "normal" 9-5 jobs. The City needs to start respecting its own ordinances.
