I thought the Volunteer Park Cafe had finally ceased using the back yard but that all changed this morning. This is exhausting and I'm sure not fun for you either but I feel like, if we let this go, thay will assume they can continue violating the use restrictions of their Conditional Use. My understanding was that the City fined them previously; we hadn't seen any violations since then. We still support the concept of the neighborhood restaurant--we just want them to abide by the conditions.

The Volunteer Park Cafe (located at this address) has again violated the terms of their Conditional Use by using the back yard for on site dining. On Saturday, May 9, 2026, they were actively using the back yard for a book sale and encouraged patrons to "grab your treats and head to the backyard".
