Over a year ago, the building owners removed a tree that was on the sidewalk curb in front of their property, near the intersection of Franklin Ave. E and E Newton Street, with a proper application deeming it a "hazard". They never cleaned up the pile of tree scrap left on the sidewalk where the tree once was, and it has sat there since. It has sat there so long, through so much weather, that it is now sprouting a fungus of unknown origin and toxicity. If it was up to the city to remove
