Unpermitted & unengineered concrete retaining wall being constructed; an inside source at a local engineering firm has expressed concerns about the homeowner directing work to be performed that is different than the engineered plans. The concrete retaining wall has been made taller without prior approval from the engineering team or city building officials.

They are building another story onto the house, completely obstructing our view. The height of the structure they are building is likely exceeding the height limit for the lot, and they are not using the original grade of the property when measuring the height limit. We are requesting that the height limit of this property be reassessed using the original grade of the property.

My complaint (006565-23CP) was recorded incorrectly.    The permit to increase the height of this house was not based on the original grade of the property. Over the last 8 years of remodeling and "landscaping ", the grade has been raised. As a result the building's height exceeds the legal limit.
