CONSTRUCTION--per walk-in--The home owners at 2114 3rd Ave W received a permit with corrections to build a DADU in their backyard. It is only 16-19" from our property. They used "existing and conformity" exemption in order to decrease the 5" requirement to 2.5" which is where their existing non conformity was, but they constructed it 16-19" from property line

The north wall of the DADU is 16" from the property line - NOT 30" from the property line (per the permit drawings and per code). This is 1'-2" closer than allowed. The letter from the applicant's surveyor does not dispute this. Please mandate the applicant move the north wall of the DADU south 1'-2" to be code compliant.

We are very concerned the north wall of the application's DADU measures 1'-4" from the north property line. The existing non-conforming garage, per the applicant's survey, locates this wall 2'-6" from the north property line.
