Our building had a water issue in which the water was potentially unsafe to drink. The building never notified tenants of the issue and has not issued any communications in writing. We noticed the issue on Wednesday after flushing our toilet and seeing lots of sediment in the water coming from the toilet tank. We filed a ticket with the landlord and got no response until today. Management recently changed, lease ends June 17th and tenant was planning on going on month-to-month. New landlord is not offering month-to-month, but will allows for 6 months before she needs to renew. Was just informed during her month-to-month rent will go from $2573 to $2797. Was not informed in advance nor does lease include increase info. Seeking tenant rights.
