Push-bar door leading to the street in the west emergency fire exit stairwell is locked since at least September 4th, east emergency stairwell is closed to foot traffic for weeks due to repairs, and a lock was installed inside the front lobby doors to keep people from exiting the building. There are no other ways to exit the building. Building management company Forge confirmed on September 5th they are aware we have no fire exits and have neither informed residents of the locked emergency exit

Rights to protection as a renter. Under new management, not doing anything about issues. Neighbor has threatened her with a gun. Has a police report. Looking to possibly end lease early. Has opportunity to break her lease but cannot afford it. Would like to know her tenant rights in this matter
