Climate Pledge overall does a great job of controlling their traffic and truck flow however, we are noticing a pattern that is increasing in frequency that is very disruptive to the neighborhood. Up to 4 semi-trucks can be parked on 1st Ave North between Thomas and John streets. Recently, large semi-trucks have used those spaces daily, with generators running 24 hours a day and night. Across the street at 232 1st Ave N, Seattle, 98109, there is an active construction site on a building. This site has been operational before 7 am every day for the past month or more, generating loud noises from machinery and construction activities. Despite regulations limiting construction noise during weekdays (7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m), they consistently start between 6 am and 6:30 am. Even with windows closed, the noises exceed normal limits and are disruptive.
