On March 20, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM, a fire occurred in unit 1001 of my building. The sprinkler system activated and water traveled down through multiple floors, causing significant flooding in my unit (801) and units on lower floors as well.My landlord responded initially by bringing in dryers and humidifiers and removing the damaged walls and flooring in my unit. The drying equipment was removed by March 25.Since then - now over two weeks - no reconstruction or repair work ha

The 4th and Battery building has installed high intensity lighting on the roof which is directly pointed at the residential building across the street ( 2401 3rd ave). This lighting is a nuisance and is completely unnecessary. This lighting is causing residents to be unable to sleep at night.
