1) It seems the permit so far does not consider the work "substantial"but does involve new footings and foundation walls that would seem to require load calculations, engineering with rebar and sill plate attachment, soil testing, critical enviromental / steep hill consideration etc. Refer to pix in prior emails.2) I have not seen any approved temporary support system now that some of the rear foundation is jack hammered away and a a deep trench for apparent new footings has been dug inside the
