Our building only has two elevators for a 20 story building - at least one has been in and out-of-commission for over 90 days now since mid-March, including periods where both were down, which is also a ADA violation. One will be 'fixed' and then mysteriously the one we had just been using will then be 'broken,' which is very concerning to me that we were just using it The maintenance has long passed the 10 day policy mandate, due to the owners and contractors dragging their feet over contracts

I am requesting an inspection of a 17-story apartment building due to repeated elevator outages and concerns about resident access and safety.For approximately the past four months, one of the building's two elevators has remained out of service. During this period, the remaining elevator has experienced repeated failures, resulting in multiple occasions where both elevators were unavailable simultaneously.On July 9, 2026, both elevators were out of service for approximately 12 hours.
