I am unable to find my unit as registered with the city and believe it is being operated illegally.Further, my landlord refuses to complete repairs, including the outside deck which is leaking and causing structural damage below.

Per Online; I applied to rent the unit; I was denied application after pointing out that the deposits they were requesting were unlawful - the agent request 50% of the rent for a pet deposit as a non-refundable fee. Further, no minimum criteria to accept applications (First-in) was provided. When denied, it was claimed that the reason was because my partner was moving unemployed. My income is about 6x the monthly rent.
