Currently renting this home and we do not have fire alarms throughout the home. We installed our own fire alarm in our son's room and reported the issue to our landlord. We deducted the cost of purchase for the fire alarm from rent. We have not heard from our landlord about a fix or verification that alarms are now up to code.

Our heating went out end of October and didn't get fixed until December 1st. We had no heat with a 1 year old in the house for a full month. Our landlord moved out of the country early November and never responded to communication after that. We had to hound the heating company ourselves to get our heat fixed.
