Habitability issues due to improper carpet cleaning. Landlord stated they treated the carpet professionally but no verification has been provided. Standard cleaning did not alleviate the strong dog stench. 3 bedrooms and a common area are not usable because stench permeates clothing, furniture and people and is also unhealthy to breath. This area is a converted basement and has minimal window openings. Carpet replacement has been requested and denied by the Landlord.

We just moved in and the dog odor in the carpet is unbearable. The owner has the carpet cleaned, now the odors are worse. I feel the carpet needs to be replaced.
