I own the house across the street from this building. The tenant living in Unit #6 has way too many animals in a tiny studio apartment. He has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Additionally he has a mangy black and white cat he has forced to live outside with no shelter, no water, and inconsistent food feedings for at least 10 years. I have reported that neglect and abuse in the past but nobody has ever cared enough to actually come out and investigate. I am older and fear retaliation so I must remain an

This building does not meet the minimum requirements for habitation. We were without heat over the winter for at least 6 months in 2024-2025. The building is full of rot and mold. I have photos if you want them. There is a hole in leading to the floor of #6. The wood support beams are all rotten. I don't know how the tenant above hasn't fallen through the floor. We received rent increase 9/1/25 but several units DO NOT meet the minimum requirements listed on the RRIO Checklist. You can easily identify these units just by looking at the front doors. No peep holes and illegal locks installed and no numbers on apartments. One tenant had to actually write the number on the front door others are unmarked.
